Mensho Taketora Roppongi: a bowl of ramen after the event

On September 10, 2019, after a promotional event in Japan for John Wick: Parabellum, Keanu visited Taketora’s Roppongi restaurant with the director and staff. Nikkan SPA! reported that he ordered sesame miso tantan ramen. A staff member interviewed for the report said that he finished the broth as well. Source: Nikkan SPA!

What makes this story interesting is that it identifies a date, restaurant and dish, rather than simply saying that he ate ramen in Tokyo. If you want to consider the same dish for your trip, check the current menu before visiting.

You don't have to eat everything in one day

Choose one restaurant in Roppongi and leave time to explore the neighbourhood before or after your meal. That is the unhurried approach suggested here. Instead of counting how many restaurants you can visit, focus on taking home memories of one bowl and the surrounding area.

Spiciness, appetite and how you feel that day can all guide your choice. Rather than insisting on recreating his exact order, choose a bowl that suits you from the current menu.
