After walking around Nokogiriyama, sit down and take a breather before rushing to your next destination. Why not leave some time on your way home to choose a fish dish while looking out at the sea?

The Fish, located next to the Kanaya ferry terminal, is a collection of restaurants and souvenir shops. What we would like to introduce here is the "restaurant with a sea view" within the facility. This is a place where you can have lunch near the port after hiking in the mountains. [1]

When you feel like fried horse mackerel rather than sushi

The restaurant offers fish dishes such as fried horse mackerel and seafood bowls, as well as pasta and pizza. Even if you want to eat raw fish and those who want cooked food, you can compare the menus at the same restaurant. [1]

If you're hungry after hiking, try fried horse mackerel as the main dish for lunch. It's a different choice than eating sashimi on a day when you eat fried fish. When ordering, check the menu for the day to see if it is a combination of rice and soup or a single item.

There is no need for everyone to order the same local speciality when travelling. One person might choose fried horse mackerel while a companion orders something else. Choosing what each person wants can give you more to talk about over the meal.

The food options aren't the only reason why you'll want to include this restaurant in your Nokogiriyama trip. The restaurant overlooks the ocean, so you can now sit back and look back at Tokyo Bay, which you used to see from the mountains. [1]

The view from above and the view from near the shore are the same, but they look different. It might be a good idea to eat while remembering the morning's journey, wondering if the boat you just boarded passed through that area.

Window seats are not always available. If you have a preference for a seat, ask at the reception desk, and on busy days, consider the time it will take you to get back to the boat.

Choose your souvenir in the free time after your meal.

The facility also has a Chiba souvenir and seafood store, as well as the Baumkuchen workshop, Minhatei. If you have time after your meal, you can make this the last detour of your trip. [1]

Think about what you buy here on the way home. If it's a refrigerated item, check how it will be stored, and choose the day you plan to take the train and return to the hotel, taking into account how much time you have to carry it around. It's not about adding more luggage, but just looking for one thing that will remind you of today's trip when you get back.

The Fish is not a journey to find a secret little diner. It is a place where you can enjoy meals and rest all at once during a day of traveling from boat to mountain and from mountain to table.

When you get on the boat on your way home, you'll think to yourself, ``The mountains were great, but eating while looking at the ocean was also great.'' Don't just schedule lunch as a stop on your way to work.
